MJH Accountants balls unveiled at Preston Guild Hall Lancashire Expo TOMORROW!

Would you like to see the Team in action? Why not come along to the Guild Hall from 9am on Friday 17^th April. Over 160 stands will be on display manned by local businesses. This is an ideal opportunity to meet local business owners, network and attend workshops. All visitors to the MJH stand will receive a unique and useful gift along with the opportunity to enter our draw. Everyone who signs up on the day for an appointment at the MJH Office will receive an elegant Parker pen when they come for their appointment. MJH Accountants up against Instinct Resourcing and Tunafish Media in the North West Insider Awards and nominated for the BIBAS in the Micro Business and Professional Services Business of the Year categories!

We are delighted to announce that Team MJH has been shortlisted by North West Insider for the category of Young Professional Team of the Year! We will know the outcome on 23^rd April – so watch this space! On the back of this budding success MJH Accountants has been nominated for Micro Business and Professional Service Business of the Year for the BIBAS awards. We will know if we’ve been shortlisted in May!

Closing date for Business and Administration Apprenticeship applications extended to 31st May 2015.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is either Preston based or lives in the locality. Good general education is essential, along with an A-C grade GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths. The ideal candidate should also be interested in an administrative role, be hard working and have a keen eye for detail. Primarily, the new apprentice will be assisting the Practice Manager in her roles. The tasks that the new apprentice will have will underpin the success of our business. The new apprentice will deliver administrative tasks to the very high standard that our clients expect. Personal self-assessment Tax returns for the year ended 5th April 2015. How you can help us to help you!

Another year has now passed and our priority is to prepare your tax return for you as soon as possible. Tax returns must be filed by 31^st January 2016 to avoid late filing penalties and to guarantee the same; and avoid a surcharge from us, we need your complete information by 30^th September 2015. Depending on individual circumstances, you may need to pay tax by 31^st July 2015 too. So that we can review your position before this date, please provide your information well in advance of 31^st July.

As we have a growing client base, we will prioritise those clients who present their complete records on time. We do not want any of our clients to incur any additional costs and for the avoidance of doubt,

Receipt of your complete information after 30^th September 2015 but before 31^st December 2015 will incur a £50 + VAT surcharge. Receipt of your complete information after 1^st January 2016 will incur a £100 + VAT surcharge.

All penalties will be charged unless there are exceptional circumstances. Don’t put off until tomorrow what can be done today!  Please help us to help you.
