“Christmas is the season for kindling the fire of hospitality in the hall, the genial flame of charity in the heart.” Washington Irving.
By now you should hopefully have received your invitation to our Christmas party which is on Wednesday of this week (16th December) from 4-9pm at St Anthony’s Club, Fulwood! If you haven’t but would like to come, just let us know – we will be happy to see YOU there.
At our party, we will be raising funds for Joseph’s Goal. Come and meet Norman and Ann Kendrick (Joseph’s grand-parents). You will receive a FREE drinks voucher on entry and be given the opportunity to enter our Charity raffle (all proceeds to Joseph’s Goal). Tickets are priced £5.00 and for each ticket purchased, you will have TWO chances to win. Purchase 5 tickets and receive an additional 2 drinks vouchers absolutely FREE!
On the night we will also be presenting cheques to Derian House and St Catherine’s Hospice. Derian House have assisted us with the design of our 2015 Christmas card. We are indebted to Zehaib, Sophie Saunders and the Derian House play leaders for their help and support.
Many of our clients expressed a wish for us to make a donation to charity on their behalf in lieu of a Christmas gift. We will be delighted to present Lynne Whittaker from St Catherine’s Hospice with a cheque on our and our clients’ behalves.
“Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.” Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
It still isn’t too late to make a difference to a family in need this Christmas. Even more so now, with thousands of people affected by the recent flooding, Rock FM are appealing for new, unwrapped Christmas gifts for young people in our locality. MJH Accountants is YOUR local donation drop-off point. We have already received a good number of wonderful donations, but there is still a desperate need out there. So, if you can help, please bring your gifts to us by 16th December and we will make sure that Rock FM receives them in time for a child to wake up with a smile this Christmas morning!
“It is the friends you can call up at 4am that matter.” Marlene Dietrich.
We will be open for “business as usual” until 6pm on Wednesday 23rd December. We re-open at 8am on Monday 4th January. If you haven’t already provided us with your information for your personal tax return, please do so before we finish for the break, this way we are best placed to be able to submit your tax return before the 31st January deadline!
“Christmas waves a magic wand over this world and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful”.” Norman Vincent Peale.
Mark, Andrea, Joe, James, Sophie and Rosie would like to wish everyone a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a healthy and prosperous 2016. We are looking forward to seeing our established, new and future clients and working partners alike in the New Year and to being of service. HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
