Practice Administrator
The role

You will be at the heart of the business, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while delivering an excellent level of service to our clients.
Vacancy
Role: Practice Administrator
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + birthday
Salary: From £25k per annum plus bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits package

Job Description
- Meet and greet clients and visitors and handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails and postal mail
- Help ensure the office building remains clean and tidy and manage stationery, kitchen and bathroom stocks
- Onboard and offboard clients and set up client files, fee agreements, direct debits, identification documents and HMRC authorisations
- Assist with client bookkeeping tasks, including recording income and expenses, uploading invoices and receipts and matching bank transactions
- Assist with the firm’s social media and marketing activity, attend events and support the organisation of MJH events
- Complete other routine office administration, correspondence and duties
Job Specification
DESIRABLE
- 2 A Levels at Grades A* to C, or equivalent
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice or professional services environment
ESSENTIAL
- 5 GCSEs at Grades 4 to 9, or equivalent, including Grade 5 or above in Maths and English
- Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist or office support role
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- A positive attitude, adaptability and commitment to delivering excellent client service
Business Administration Apprentice
